VONDELLA YVETTE ROGERS

Vondella Yvette Rogers was born on May 5, 1966, in Terrell, Texas to the parents of Fannie Rogers and Johnny Rogers.

Yvette graduated from Edgewood High School. She later earned her degree as a Teacher at Texas A&M University in 2009. She is currently a dedicated employee of Frederick Douglas Elementary. Yvette is a member of True Believers Baptist Church.

Yvette and her devoted husband Darrell Lyons have been together here on earth for 41 years.

Yvette was preceded in death by her brother Manuel Rogers, her father Johnny Rogers, her grandparents Margie & Manuel Avery, and grandparents Clevland & Octavia Rogers.

Yvette’s memories will be forever cherished by her husband Darrell Lyons, her mother Fannie Rogers, her sister Lisa Lyons, her brother Craig Rogers, her brother Emmanuel Rogers (Tiffany Rogers), her brother Christopher Rogers (Christina Rogers), her daughter Ebony Dillard (Trey Dillard), her son Darren Rogers, her son Darrius Rogers (Beka Prokaski), & her mother in law Debra Lyons. She also leaves behind precious memories for her nieces Dominique Lyons, Allison Ross, & Avery Rogers, her nephews Craig & Christopher Rogers, Jayden Rogers, Christian Rogers, & Jordan Mckay, her grandchildren Anaya Ferguson & Kedarrion Oliver, Hope Johnson, Carter Jordan, Demi Rogers, Daelyn Rogers, Daxton Rogers, & Drew Rogers, a host of Aunts & Uncles, nieces & nephews, God children, students, coworkers, cousins, & other loving family members and friends including the Gangster Grannies.

Yvette passed away peacefully at Baylor Medical Center Dallas surrounded by lots of love & family.
