Rhonda "Hollywood" Andrews was born on July 1, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Jessie D. Shaw and Alfred "Al TNT" Braggs. She attended and graduated from W.W. Samuel High School in 1973. In 1977 she met the love of her life Henry Andrews Sr. They were joined in holy matrimony on December 17, 1995. She was a dedicated and devoted employee of 20+ years at 1st Mellinium/1st Prudential Healthcare.
Rhonda is preceded in Death by her loving husband, grandparents, Dealie & J.T. Toombs, mother, father, sister LaTonya Nobles, Brother Donald Ray Nobles, and Daughter Denise Andrews. Rhonda accepted Christ at an early age at Shady Grove Baptist Church. As time passed she became an active member of New Life Fellowship Temple under the leadership of Rev. Frank Turner and Grace City Church, Pastor Ralph Tucker Jr. until her demise.
Rhonda was a true singing legend. She began singing at an early age with The Gospel Renattas 2nd generation under the leadership of her grandmother Dealie Toombs. She also joined The Christianettes of Ft. Worth, Texas. Rhonda was a powerful lead singer of The Little Angels, The Christian Angels, The Voices of Angels, and One Voice Ministry. She was an active member of The Angelic Shaw sisters until her passing. Her powerful voice has graced many stages and recordings with fellow legends nationwide.
Our sweet "Hollywood" was a friend to many. She was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She passed away on September 8, 2024 leaving a void that cannot be filled.
Rhonda leaves to mourn sons Cedrick Nobles, Davey (Denise) Cummings, Henry (Viola) Andrews Sr., Britton Ray (Chantrell) Andrews and Daughters Shurhonda (Ralph) Tucker, Vickie (Ralph) Crabtree, one Sister Joan (Tommy) Miller, brother Dennis Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, grand children and great grand children.
Although she will be missed tremendously, We find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the gift she gave us, the love she shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
