Mr. Henry E. Andrews was born in Kaufman, Texas on July 1, 1941 to the parentage of Brittain Andrews and Francis Duncan Andrews. Mr. Henry Andrews was preceded in death by both parents Brittain and Frances Andrews, his sisters and brothers; Willie Fred Andrews, Christine Andrews, Bernice Andrews Gladney, Neeavather Andrews Williams(CHI-CHI), Lillian Andrews Davis, and Freeman Andrews.
Mr. Henry was educated in Kaufman ISD, he was musically inclined and was given the name "BOOGIE" by his family. Mr. Henry taught himself how to play the piano, guitar, and saxophone. One of his favorite hobbies was working on cars which he taught himself to do as well. Mr. Henry was A very straight forward man and truly loved his family. He was employed by the Duncanville ISD until his health failed.
Mr. Andrews married Ella McKinney Andrews and to this union were four children; Ms. Ella Denise Andrews, Mr. Henry Andrews Jr.(Mrs. Viola Andrews), Mr. Britton Raye Andrews(Mrs. Chantrelle Andrews), Mrs. Vickie Andrews Crabtree( Mr. Ralph Crabtree) all of Dallas, Texas.
In 1978 Mr. Henry met and fell in love with Mrs. Rhonda Cummings and married her in 1995, three children were added to the family. Mr. Cedric Nobles, Mrs. Shurhonda Tucker(Pastor Ralph Tucker), Mr. Davey Cummings(Mrs. Denise Cummings) all of Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Henry Andrews attended the Victory Chapel COGIC and later attended Soul Harvest M & D Church. Mr. Henry Andrews loved to sing, he started singing with his family at A young age. He started singing and playing the Bass with the Traveling Souls and later singing background and lead. In 1983 he formed the Divine Voices in home where he was A member for life. He loved Divine Voices where he was A lead singer, sometimes background singer.
Mr. Henry leaves to cherish his memories A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, son in laws, daughter in laws and friends.
